Thanks, great post, this had me really foxed.(12.04). I’m using Jungledisk Workgroup but your fix works just as well, simply substituting ‘junglediskworkgroup’ for ‘junglediskdesktop’.
I did not need to reboot btw.

The price you are quoting $35/$55/$80 is for the registration ($15) plus the mailbox ($20/40/65, respectively).

Glad I found your helpful review and comments. Thanks! But I’m confused about everyone’s description of Hover pricing. According to their website today, I can register and get a personal email address for $35/year (1 mailbox), $55 (for 5) and $80 (for 10). I don’t see the $5/25/50 email forwarding pricing either. So please help me to understand what I’m obviously missing.

Just jumped over to Hover to check their pricing. Your statement about mailboxes being $20/year isn’t totally correct–that’s only for the first mailbox. After that, the following sliding scale applies: 5 mailboxes for $40 and 10 mailboxes for $65; business domain accounts have options for 50, 100, or 150 mailboxes @ $149/199/249. Also, if all you want is email forwarding, the pricing is $5/25/50 per year for 1/5/10 email forwarding accounts.

Just moved some of my domains over to Hover in the past week and loving the service (your review helped me decided whether or not to jump ship from the other registrars I was with).

One point I think you missed was the fact that they offer free whois protection/domain privacy. So the price is a couple bucks higher than GoDaddy and others, but they don’t charge you extra to protect your personal info.

The support + user interface are mostly what made me switch though. So much easier to manage my domains and I’m not inundated with add-on crap when I try to buy a new domain.

Hey there! I was curious to know if setting up a blog website such your

I’ve been wanting to create my own website for a while now but have been turned off mainly because I’ve always believed it
